Come join the Cobalt Studios Crew in one of many small-scale themed workshops! Please watch the “Collective” highlight on our Instagram! Theme: Back to the basics! We will go over the basics of using studio equipment and fundamentals of lighting. Mood board: https://pin.it/DNkPaUP 3 Stations: White CYC wall with 1-3 light set up. Learn how to start with one light and work your way up to three lights. We will also go over using a boom arm. (1-3 lights) Dark brown, tan and olive green paper set up with soft lighting technique. (1-2 lights) Gray, dark green and dark brown painted backdrop with beauty dish lighting. Learn about Rembrandt lighting! (1-2 lights) 5-6 models 5-6 photographers 5:00 -7:20 PM - Models may use makeup stations, feel free to bring an MUA. Be aware there are only three MUA stations! There is more room upstairs for MUA tables. DM on instagram to reserve. Photographers should arrive by 6 PM to get familiar with lighting and their stations. 7:20 -7:40 PM - Models and photographers meet. Go over outfits and decide props. Extra time to do makeup touch ups. Soft launch into first station. 7:40 -8:00 PM - First round Switch stations 8:00- 8:20 PM - Second round Switch stations 8:20-8:40 PM - Last round 8:40 - 9:00 PM - Wrap up and say goodbye!
