Rather than starting 2023 with a list of goals and intentions, imagine what could happen if you entered the new year feeling calm, centered, and well-rested. What new reality might you envision? What new possibilities could you create? What new blessings might you be ready to receive? Join Shakeelah Sutton of the calm/cool collective for a guided relaxation and restorative yoga practice supported in community. With the support of blankets, bolsters, and yoga blocks, you’ll create a comfy nest to rest, reflect, and release, thus making room for a new vision or intention for the future to be realized. Logistics Accessible for all levels, no prior yoga or meditation experience is required. Cozy clothing, socks, yoga mat, and a journal is recommended.Light refreshments will be provided, including freshly brewed tea from Blue's Coffee & Tea Co. A small selection of lavender eye pillows that encourage deeper levels of relaxation will also be available for purchase.Free 2-hour street parking is available outside of the studio.*Please note: In alignment with our mission of providing historically underrepresented communities with access to holistic wellness, this event creates space for those who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and people of color).
