First Night Presented by The Production Alliance, First Night is an all-ages New Year's Eve extravaganza featuring live music and performances, interactive art experiences, heritage and history exhibits, fireworks, and more! Event is a self-guided tour of indoor and outdoor venues in downtown Port Townsend. PRE-SALE TICKETS are $10 per person and allow the purchaser the opportunity to reserve seats for one of three Circus Arts & Acrobatics Variety Shows, as well as entry to all other venues and activities. Tickets will available onsite day-of are by suggested donation - $10 per person / $20 per family w/children but do not guarantee a seat at the circus. First Night Schedule:Saturday, December 31, 2022 | 3PM - 9PM | Multiple Downtown Venues 3PM - 7PM | Indoor Venues Circus Arts & Acrobatics Variety Show - Brigid's Loft, 647 Washington St Lantern Decorating with Northwind Art - Cotton Building, 607 Water St Resolution in a Bottle, Scavenger Hunt, Puzzles - Museum of Art & History, 540 Water StStaged Readings and Shorts - Key City Public Theatre, 419 Washington St7PM - 9PM | Madison Street* 7:00 PM - Unexpected Brass Band & Lantern Parade 7:30 PM - Fire Dancers & Spinners8:00 PM - Multi-instrumentalist Elias Alexander**9:00 PM - Fireworks*Madison Street closed to vehicle traffic between Water and Washington, 6PM-9PM **Performance begins on Madison, moves into Cotton Bldg Cirque du Première Nuit:Part of the First Night New Year’s Eve spectacular, this circus arts and acrobatics variety show features performances by: Sadye Osterloh and Poki from Up Up Up IncSadie LeDonna & Shawn Kellogg from Pop-Up MovementTobias Weinberger of The Traveling SpectacularShowtimes: 3:30PM4:45PM6:15PM Doors open for Pre-Sale ticket holders 20 minutes before each performance.General seating opens 10 minutes prior to each performance. Each show runs approximately 40 minutes. NOTE: Brigid’s Loft is located on the second floor above Bazaar Girls Yarn Shop (formerly the Jefferson Community School). This historic building does not feature an elevator and therefore ADA access to the performance space is limited.
