You will meet with a nurse from the Family Birth Center at Vail Health to discuss your pregnancy, birth plan wishes, and begin the transition from the clinic to the hospital. In this meet-up, the nurse will begin the admission process, discuss consents and/or declinations, answer questions about your individual pregnancy and elaborate on the education you have received in the clinic and how that translates to your care in the hospital. We will discuss your personal birth plan and wishes and tour the Family Birth Center unit. The Vail Babies Nurse is an expert Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse who will be able to answer your questions about your pregnancy and birthing experience specifically at Vail Health and connect you and your family to helpful resources. This appointment is most beneficial when you are 32 weeks gestation or after.
