This course is intended as an orientation to OSHA safety training standards for the construction industry. It covers safety and health hazards workers may face on construction work sites, placing special emphasis on hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention. Class size is limited to 40 people with a maximum of 5 employees per company. Please do not sign up for this class unless you are positive you are able to attend. We will contact you 48 hours prior to confirm your attendance. Topics include: • Introduction to OSHA • Construction health hazards • Electrical safety • Fall protection • Excavation/Trenching • Hazard communication • Personal Protective Equipment Attendees who successfully attend this course will earn their official OSHA 10 card from the U.S. Department of Labor.
