FREE and Open to the Public. Doors open at 6:30 PM. Program starts at 7:00 PM. Light refreshments served after the program. Come hear founders Jeff Hulsmann and Jeannine Engel discuss the project to save Palmer Lake. Their organization called "Awake the Lake" sponsors many fundraisers throughout the year and relies on community involvement. The mission of Awake Palmer Lake is to salvage, restore, and recreate the natural majesty of the namesake of our town. Come hear the history of this historic restoration project. This program will center on community volunteerism as the panel presents the mission, accomplishments, and future of the successful campaign to Awake Palmer Lake.
