This workshop is open to the public! Anyone who wishes to learn more about drug overdose and use of Naloxone is encouraged to attend. 2023 is a new year, start the year off right by learning something new! We are living in the day and age of Fentanyl, and you never know when you may encounter a person experiencing a drug overdose. Forsyth County averages 1-2 overdoses per day. You can learn how to save a life using Naloxone! During this workshop, participants will learn about the overdose reversing medication Naloxone (also known as Narcan) and will also learn how to recognize the signs of an overdose and how to respond. We will also discuss community resources that are available and how to support someone after they've had an overdose. This workshop will be hosted on Wednesday, January 4th 2023, from 6-8pm at Green Tree Peer Center in Winston Salem. We are so grateful to our friends at Green Tree for their support and allowing us to use their space!
