Description

The Coin-Up Classic is a free to attend event for arcade enthusiasts and collectors in and around the Pittsburgh region. Play, socialize, and even compete against other arcade enthusiasts for a trophy and cash prize. Attendees must register (registration is free) in order to attend. All classic video arcade games will be free to play. Any attendee who wants to participate in the tournament is required to purchase a ticket. Tournament Details: The tournament will feature head to head competition on at least 10 classic video arcade games (ie. Galaga, Dig Dug, Joust, etc). Tournament games will be announced at 2pm the day of the event. Tournament will start promptly at 3pm and will last 2 hours. Tournament will be a "frenzy style" format where players are randomly matched against other players to play randomly selected games. There is no elimination - all players will compete for the entire 2 hours. The player with the most wins at the end of the 2 hour tournament will be declared the winner and awarded a trophy and cash prize. Cash prize amount will be announced at the beginning of the tournament and will depend on the number of players participating.
