Looking for musicians to play 70s to 90s country.

Albemarle NC

Description

Looking to form a country band (that will practice till it is good enough to play out on a not so regular basis) Playing country from the 70s, 80s and 90s and the real country that pops up now and then on modern country radio. NO vocoder or country Rap! Looking for mainly steel guitar, keys, Fiddle, mandolin and banjo but an multi instumentalist guitar player will work fine also. Have a male vocalist but singing players are welcome. A female 2nd vocalist would make us more versatile and be good for switching off harmony's, the more the merrier. Just looking for musicians that love this style of music and want an outlet to play it with the objective to do shows at our leisure, not constant bookings. If your a pro who has had it with the scene and just want to play your welcome too. Mercenaries who have to make a living from it this won't be the band you need. We want the guy or gal with a full time job that just wants to jam on good music and practice with the band once a week. The bedroom musicians who don't think they are good enough but are willing to put in the work, want to play with other musicians to get better and believe in practice at home not just with the band. If you play and love this music and fit this, we want you! We practice right off 24/27 coming into Albermarle from Charlotte but someone with a rehearsal space closer to Charlotte would be welcome to check us out. Call or text me. Tyrone at . .
