LOOKS LIKE I'VE BEEN CATFISHED BY A FEW PEOPLE PRETENDING TO BE MUSICIANS. I GUESS THEY ARE JUST BORED, LONELY AND WANT SOMEONE TO EMAIL/TEXT WITH. WHEN IT WAS TIME TO ACTUALLY PLAY, I NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. PLEASE REPLY TO THIS AD ONLY IF YOU ARE ACTUAL MUSICIAN & NO BEGINNERS PLEASE. I'm a retired guy that still has several more years in me to play live music. I'm stuck over here in Roanoke but moving to the Richmond area in a few months. The best way I can describe the music scene over here is WIMP ROANOKE. These guys actually want to play songs like Happy Together on a volume of 1-2. It was hard NOT to break down laughing when I heard this BS at a practice OR they thought they were going to play 38 Special songs on a Volume of 1-2. Sounded like toy guitars playing on toy amps. How are you going to get a squall or pinch harmonics playing on 1? I DO NOT WANT TO PLAY Mustang Sally, Margaritaville, Can't you see, type stuff. I moved back here to Va after 7 years in South Carolina but sure made a mistake picking Roanoke. Doesn't anybody play danceable rock anymore? Bad Company, April Wine, Billy Squier, etc. Here's a couple of pics of me from the past.
