ABOUT THIS EVENT: Saturday, January 7th 9:15am - 10:45am You are welcome to start settling into the space at 9:15am and the ceremony will begin (doors will close) at 9:30am. We will work with the cacao for about an hour. Cacao encourages you to open your heart, connecting you with your higher self. It is a gentle yet powerful medicine. When consumed intentionally and in ceremony, it helps release energy blockages and barriers that we unconsciously build against ourselves and others. It is a doorway to open our consciousness and our hearts, and allows us to go deeper with our thoughts. Join me as we collectively create higher frequencies of love through our bodies, minds, and spirits. The intention for this sacred morning is to guide you to rejuvenate your self-love, embody the safe space, surrender to all that might come up, feel supported and find gratitude with the beautiful plant medicine that is cacao. OUTLINE OF THE CEREMONY: Opening the Circle Receive ceremonial serving of cacao Group breath work + meditation Journaling Closing the Circle This is a fun, safe, nurturing environment where all are welcome. You will be lovingly guided and supported throughout the whole experience. Learn more about Kakao HERE WHAT TO WEAR & BRING: Continuum will have blankets, blocks, and yoga mats available for us. However, I do encourage you to bring whatever may help you feel most relaxed. Wear comfortable clothing, and bring layers. Meditation pillow [we will be seated on the floor (chairs can be provided, please reach out in advance if needed); please bring whatever you need to be comfortable] Waterbottle Journal + Pen [you will be guided through this journey with questions and are encouraged to write out your answers, but you are also invited to sit with whatever comes up. I do find that writing it out helps to process and better understand your thoughts] Open heart + mind It is important that you arrive on time and plan to stay for the entire journey; Sacred space is created/opened as a group & closed together - this is integral. Special Mug to drink out of [otherwise I have one for you] Sacred altar items PARKING & EVENT SPACE: There are several parking spaces out front of and behind the building. The space that we will occupy is on the first floor. You do need to be able to go up and down a few stairs. Find more information about the venue her IMPORTANT: Cacao is contraindicated for those with severe heart problems or kidney disease, as well as those on SSRI's and MAOI's - please consult your healthcare provider if this applies to you.
