Maintenance Assistant - Brewster, MA We are looking to employ a dedicated and reliable maintenance assistant to maintain our facilities and perform general repair and landscaping tasks among our residential and commercial properties. To be successful as a maintenance assistant, you should be hard-working, have good hand-eye coordination, and able to lift heavy objects as required. Ultimately, an exceptional maintenance assistant should be able to safely operate hand and power tools as well as demonstrate excellent problem-solving and time management skills. Responsibilities: · Completing minor repair work, repairing doors, door frames minor carpentry. Replace light bulbs, Filters, and other minor maintenance items. · Performing basic plumbing tasks, which includes unclogging drains as well as fixing leaking faucets and toilets. · Maintaining all outdoor areas, Weeding, Running Lawn Equipment of different types including Tractor. Removing Snow and Ice. · Managing inventory of maintenance supplies & notifying Supervisor of low supplies. · Promptly responding to requests for emergency repairs and clean-ups. · Ensuring that all maintenance equipment is in good working order. · Providing basic animal care feeding, coop maintenance, walking (chickens, cats, dogs) Maintenance Assistant Requirements: · Sound knowledge of basic carpentry, plumbing and household maintenance items. · Proven general maintenance experience. · The ability to safely operate hand and power tools as well as landscaping equipment. · The ability to lift objects 50 lbs+. · Strong problem-solving skills. · Excellent time management skills. · Effective communication skills. · Clean driving record
