The Comic Asylum is hosting our next RCQ (Regional Championship Qualifier) for Magic the Gathering next Saturday, January 7th, 2022 at 11:00AM This Event will have 2 Invites given out as we are a Premium Store. FORMAT will be PIONEER this time - Competitive Format. We are also running a DOMINARIA REMASTERED Booster Draft at 2:30PM for $35 as a Side Event for people to jump into. It is our Premium Store Preview Event. 1 pack per match win 3 Rounds Swiss. Deck lists and access to the Magic Companion App are required. Please have it downloaded prior to arriving at the shop. We will have Zack Cash as the Judge handling calls, & in-house staff helping with deck checks. Cost $25.00 PIONEER format run over the appropriate swiss rounds based on attendance & a Top 8 Single Elimination Playoff round. Prizes*: After subtracting the Judge & Dreamhack Kit cost, 50% of the Pot will be paid out in store credit to the Top 8 Players. The % Breakdown will be stated below. Participation card is Mystical Dispute (non-foil) 1st-8th Receive a Non-Foil Thing In The Ice Promo 1st: Place Winner 1 Foil – Thing In The Ice Promo & 25% of the Prize Pot. DreamHack badge and invite to the 1st US DreamHack Championship of 2023. 2nd: 21 % of the Prize Pot & INVITE to the 1st US DreamHack Championship of 2023. 3-4th: 15% each 5-8th: 6% each The Maximum Player Capacity is 48 People.
