Fire Chief Tony Bowden grew up in Santa Clara County where he attended Leigh High School, West Valley College, and Waldorf University. Chief Bowden has served as a Paramedic Preceptor and Field Training Officer, is a State Fire Marshal’s Office Certified Instructor, Fire Officer and Chief Officer. Chief Bowden served as Vice-Chair for the FIRESCOPE Board of Directors, President and Treasurer for the Santa Clara County Fire Chief’s Association, Fire Chief and Fire Marshal for the County of Santa Clara,Operational Area Coordinator, and Interim Director for the Santa Clara County Communications Center.
