This program-held at Southwest Texas Junior College in Uvalde-is directed to give local farmers the most up to date information on crop related topics. It will be covering managing irrigation deficit during drought, Herbicide resistant weeds in row crops, and managing aflatoxins in crops. There will be Private Applicator CEUs offered with some of these topics. Lunch is being sponsored by Medina Electric Cooperative who will also be giving a presentation during that time. This program will be from 8:00-1:00 There will also be a optional auxin certification training following lunch from 1:00-2:30 where an additional CEU can be received.
