Buddy passed through the seven levels of the candy cane forest, through the sea of swirly-twirly gum drops and ended up at PAWS. He spreads cheer to everyone he meets and would love to join in all the holiday fun with his new family! An adoption counselor will be in contact with you following the submission of your application. If approved, they will arrange a meet and greet at one of our monthly trips to Chesapeake or at our shelter. Visits to the shelter are by appointment only, as we are a volunteer-run rescue organization. All PAWS cats are spayed/neutered and current on the vaccinations appropriate for their age. Those who are confirmed over 4 months old or older will have their rabies vaccinations. All cats and kittens are tested for FIV/FELV. All are treated with flea/tick prevention and given internal parasite preventative on a regular basis. All are microchipped (for their safety and the adopter's peace of mind) as part of the adoption fee.
