Welcome to model railroading! If you're planning to give your child a model train this holiday or you're a model train enthusiast yourself, discover ways to make your miniature railroad even cooler. The Historic Pullman Foundation and Berwyn Hobby are excited to host this workshop on developing dioramas and scenic elements, building mountains, making a tree, and assembling a building from a kit. Here's your chance to connect with other train enthusiasts and learn from them how to create scenery, build kits, and incorporate yourself into this new miniature world. This program is intended for anyone older than 7-years. Children under the age of 14 must come with an adult who can assist them with various construction tasks. Tickets include all supplies and family admission to the RAILROADERS exhibit showcasing the men and women who kept the trains moving during World War II. Please check the gauge of your model train and submit it during registration for this program so that we can be sure to get appropriate-sized models.
