The Wrap Gala
Presents It's Second Annual Black Tie Chicagoland Toy Drive
Historically, poverty and homelessness has crippled underserved communities in Chicago, namely the southside. For the past decade, children in those communities have been disproportionally affected by the lack of resources, funding, and opportunities as a result of the global pandemic and economic recessions.
We believe that toys are more than just fun and games for children. Toys engage their senses, spark their imaginations, and encourage them to dream and shape their futures.
The Wrap Gala Foundation, founded by Chicago-born and -based stylist & philanthropist, Pierre Miller. The foundation will host an evening dedicated to giving back, and providing joy to the children on the southside of Chicago, who might not otherwise receive gifts this holiday season.
The Wrap Gala’s mission to donate all toys and honor, Chicago-based organization Something Good In Englewood, Inc. This non-profit organization has done some amazing work in the heart of Englewood . Something Good in Englewood focuses on increasing socio-economic opportunities within the community as well as providing supportive services and educational programming.
All donations will be accepted and accounted for the night of the Gala. If you would like to give early please contact us at [email protected].
Also giving back to the children includes our pre teens -teenagers. We ask for any gift cards of some sort to spread love to our teens as well.
Thank you
