Liberal religious congregation located in western Broward County is hiring a person to work Every Sunday afternoon - four hours. Will be responsible for setting up the childcare area prior to service, providing a safe, healthy and nurturing environment for children ages newborn to four during the service, and clean-up of the childcare area after service. Requirements: • At least 18 years old • Speaks English • At least one year of verifiable child care experience • Able to successfully complete a fingerprint and criminal background check • Able to lift 30lbs • Able to stoop and sit at children’s level • Display genuine enthusiasm and compassion for infants and toddlers • Relate to parents, other nursery staff and volunteers The work schedule is Sundays only, from 1pm to 5pm. The rate of pay is $15 per hour. When weekend special events and Sunday congregational meetings are scheduled at the facility, there will be opportunities for additional hours. Advanced notice for these hours will be provided. A payroll check will be issued at the end of the month for the total hours worked during the month.
