While I don't tend to buy your Clinton argument, I do agree with the fact that the policies of one president can carry over and affect society and economy during the administrations of future presidents. That is why Trump was, and still is, a danger. - Trump's policy of supporting and encouraging hate groups including Christian Nationalists have nourished a cancer that will affect us for years to come. - Trump's policies such as rolling back the CAFE standards and other anti-environmental actions will negatively affect generations to come. (I don't know where this currently stands, if Biden undid trump's stupidity.) - Trump's betrayal of our allies did great damage to our standing in the world and has emboldened the dictators and despots that he so admired.
