Join SummerWinds Nursery's Garden Coach, Jeff Pavone, as he reviews how to grow delicious deciduous, stone and multi-grafted fruit varieties, as well as grapes, blueberries and raspberries. Winter, in Arizona, is a great time to plant your fruit trees and shrubs! We’ll review the best location for planting, winter care of existing plants, fertilizing, watering, pruning, and insect and disease controls. Jeff moved to the desert over 20 years ago from Chicago and took classes with the Maricopa County Master Gardener Cooperative Extension to become a Master Gardener. His passion is growing all things edible and he has a wealth of experience in organic gardening, and growing a wide variety of fruits.
