That is an interesting take on how things have run. Conveniently, things “take time” when your chosen leader is in office and things haven’t changed yet, but when someone you oppose is elected to office things better be fixed on day one.
Just a note, Clinton’s surplus and housing “boom” that you mention were both predicated on passing the Buck onto the next President. The 2007/2008 housing crisis was decades in the making but was significantly exacerbated by policies put in place by the Clinton administration.
