Residential Building Janitor Needed

Looking for a dedicated full-time Janitor to work on-site of a mid-sized rental apartment building in the Lakeview area. Offering a Salary of $45,000-$50,000 Per Year, Health Insurance Allowance, 10 Days Of Vacation The First Year Main Responsibilities - Cleaning of interior and exterior common areas and property grounds. - Removal of trash from trash chute - Removal of recycling from recycling collection receptacles - Cutting grass and maintaining landscaping - Removal of snow from sidewalk / parking areas / Salt & Sand as Needed - Maintaining stock of necessary cleaning / maintenance supplies - Perform work orders for light maintenance duties (replace apartment locks, common area bulbs, etc.) - Completion of work orders in a timely manner - Coordinate apartment move in & move out and Conduct Related Inspections - Communicate daily with management office regarding building status Qualifications - Must take pride in the building and ownership of responsibilities - Must be self-motivated and a problem solver - Have at least two years of experience as a full-time janitorial person required - Having basic handyman knowledge is a plus but not required - Have strong communication and record-keeping skills - Basic technology capabilities (e-mail, text, photo messaging, use of apps on phone for position responsibilities - Pass drug test/criminal background check - Provide employment references
