We are a Highly reputable, growing, full service general contractor, and are seeking an experienced field technician to facilitate, execute, and complete residential projects from start to finish. Reporting to the project manager, the field technician is critical to the success of the company, as this person will be responsible for ensuring that each project meets the deliverables and expectations of the original estimate. Essential Functions: Successfully communicate with the Project Manager on a regular basis, while traveling to job sites to deliver the project execution. Ensure that the full scope of the job is understood, and performed, resulting in less wasted time, and reduced material costs, and reduced payoff costs (including overtime), while adhering to safety at all times. Thoroughly understand and follow labor laws, specifically what can be legally said to employees, customers, and people outside of the organization. Meet with Contractors, Reps, and Customers as needed. Support the billing process by providing timely information and responses to questions from the office. Honestly and accurately record hours and mileage. Essential Requirements: Proficient in office software required to perform the job, such as T Sheets to record time along with Email and Text. Knowledge in all building repair trades, purchasing procedures, work safety requirements, as well as painting, and repair procedures. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, attention to detail, and solid record keeping skills, and task completion orientation abilities. Time Management proficiency, including an ability to prioritize by consistently showing an ability to recognize and deal with priorities, while working independently. Team player, with the ability to collaborate with anyone in the organization. Strong initiative, thoroughness, effectiveness, and positive attitude. High level of interpersonal skills with demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy. Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality with regard to sensitive information and projects. Recognize and perform duties which need to be performed, although not directly assigned, and assisting others as needed. Always providing proper notification and advance notice of absence, while not abusing or taking advantage of personal days off, or excessively leaving early.
