Stress of catching, transportation and the way you acclimate and care for the fish can bring out disease. I am not responsible for any deaths that may occur or disease outbreak! All new fish should be quarantined regardless of the source.! Fish can lack color and have clamped fins. After acclimation they should relax, color up and swim more. My tank has been disease free for over 3 years. Again stress can bring out disease in fish. So I recommend quarantining! All my fish have been exposed to Flourish Excel, Flourish, and Flourish Iron as well as CO2 injections They do well with these ferts in the water.
