Im a dance music producer these days, but a looong time musician. Grew up on Floyd, all of it. Skipped school just see a bootleg copy of the wall back in HS. I have been working on electronic covers of Floyd songs for some time thinking I would go solo on this project. As of yesterday, I decided to see if a local keys player has interest and surely theres a screaming strat player in this town that can make it cry? Looking to keep it a 3 piece, 100% looking to play out, thats basically the reason for this post, I feel like the project has more marketing ability as a 3 piece (vocals not withstanding, thats another discussion). 1. Age doesnt matter, you must be able to physically survive the performance 2. Love of Floyd is critical. No half assers, this music is tattooed on my soul, so shall it be yours 3. open to experimental, everybody and their aging uncle has done Floyd, but NOT like this 4. If you hate 4 on the floor, EDM house music, this isnt for you. 5. I have several completed tracks, but I cant post them publicly yet, for copyright protection, just so you know. Last bit and maybe the most important - El Monstero is from here, St louis...have you sold the Pageant out @$20 minimum ticket? Because they have... a few times. 2000 seats * $20 = $40k - thats no do goody good bullshit. Im completely serious and 100% ready to be blown on the steel breeze.
