Seeking guitarist from same planet

We are looking for 2nd guitar to make some music, feedback and noise with. We’re kids at heart ( drummer in his 30's and guitar and bass in their 40's ) with adult lives in search of another guitar, and if we're making a Christmas list, a harmony vocal. We're all transplants and get along great. It sometimes feels like we’re from another planet with our musical interests and personalities. We're focusing on original songs, maybe a cover or two. We plan to record something great then break up after we argue about creative differences (we prefer to just plan ahead....) We’re all about Fuzzy / distorted guitars, big drums, big chords, a few good riffs, some feedback, soft / loud type stuff, some melody and trying to (ahem) stay in pitch:) Bands that inspire us: Radiohead, The Posies, Superdrag, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Misfits, BRMC, Quicksand, Foo Fighters, Failure, Samiam, QOTSA. We have some recorded ideas to share if you want to get an idea of what we're all about. Ask, and we'll send'em over. We have a local place in Clarksville that we book to practice, and we'll even help you unload your stuff. Dust off your doc martens and join us. Some things worth mentioning: * Have your own guitar and amp (It's crazy to even have to write this) * Experience working with a DAW would be great * Experience playing with other people would be great * We know Craigslist (and this area) is full of flakes and nuts - if you're one of these (or both) please don't waste our time * Please have your own ideas, riffs or songs to show your style (however minimal, incomplete, or unpolished)
