Drummer wanted for cover band

Relaxed cover band of 8 years looking for a good new rock drummer – interesting beats with good sense of pace and dynamics. Nice Pearl drum set at practice location. We are one guitarist/singer and one lead guitarist in our 60's (not geezers!) and cover Decemberists, Lou Reed, Patti Smith, Iggy Pop, Nirvana, Joy Division, Social Distortion, Bowie, Orwell's, Kraftwerk, Foo Fighters, Stones, Raveonettes, Dylan, Sufjan Stevens, Neil/Crazy Horse, and working on several others. We have very rarely practiced during Covid and now seek a drummer (and bass player). Mainly interested in fun but serious about improving our sound and learning new songs, with practices once a week in the upper Georgetown/Foxhall Rd. area. Would like to retain a ‘coach’ about 1-2 times/month – we had one for a few years previously. We have not played gigs but open to occasionally doing that – being paid is not a desire. All ages welcome.
