Can anyone here recommend NYC landlords or buildings that are artist friendly? I am a musician turned real estate agent who struggled over the years to get apartments, especially when I was doing gig based work. It wasn't that I couldn't afford the places, it was that I had to prove it. Now that I'm an agent, I'd like to have resources on hand to put my clients in the hands of landlords who are artist-friendly. By that I mean, likely smaller or private landlords who offer affordable housing, accept third party guarantors, have flexibility (whatever!)
