Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description: The facilities maintenance technician is responsible for performing all routine building and facilities maintenance tasks. These tasks include, but are not limited to, plumbing, carpentry, electrical and general HVAC. Also included will be assisting others inside the clubhouse, pool, fitness center, and club villas. This is a full-time hourly position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Completing work orders submitted by departments.
• Refurbish/remodel any areas in need.
• Change light bulbs and HVAC filters when needed.
• Maintain any exterior property unrelated to the golf course.
• Although generally a Monday thru Friday schedule, this position may require flexible hours and, at times, may require on call hours.
Employment Standards:
• At least one year of experience in a building trade such as carpentry, painting, masonry electrical; or,
• A combination of training, education, and experience that is equivalent to the employment standard listed above and that provides the required knowledge and abilities.
• Knowledge of: the materials, tools, methods and equipment used in the above referenced building trades; repair methods and maintenance practices for structures and equipment; work safety practices.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift or push 75 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Bending at waist, sitting, climbing, kneeling, walking, crouching
