I have been a husky mom for over 7 years and it just breaks my heart to write this! I took in a 4th husky recently from a bad backyard breeding situation. The dog had little to no interaction with people! I’ve only had him a little over 3 weeks! He’s done really well with me! He’s very skittish still but growing closer to me day by day! He gets along with all three of my other huskies! I have two small children, he nipped my daughter through the dog gate he was behind, in the cheek! He left a small red mark! I cannot keep him here because of this! I believe he will continue to make great progress in the right household but I cannot stress this enough, he does not belong in a house with any small children! Dogs? Fine! Grown people? Fine! Teenagers? Fine! Kids under 10? Absolutely not! He is about 2 years old as far as I know! Please only message if you fully understand that this dog is going to require a lot of tender love and care! He is going to need patience and lots of it!
