Description
I know this is a long shot, but a few years back, my husband and I had to surrender our dog, Bailey, to the Tampa SPCA. He was an older German Shorthaired Pointer mix with a black, grey, and white coat and the smallest spot of brown on his ear. (He also had a few benign tumors on his side.) We had to move and couldn't find a place that would accept pets.
I'm not asking for him back (though I won't deny I often scour the internet in case he becomes available to adopt). But my hope is that he's living out his golden years with a loving family who appreciates what a wonderful dog he is. If his owners come across this, I would love to hear how he's doing. It breaks my heart that we let him go, even after all this time; I wish we'd found a way to keep him.
Please, any information at all would be so appreciated. We desperately love and miss him and just want to know he's safe.
