Winter Solstice, Christmas, and the Yule Log! The Yule log was an important feature of pre-Christmas winter celebrations, aspects of which were later incorporated into Christmas tradition and customs when the giant log was burned throughout most countries in Northern Europe. In the burning of the yule log all hatreds, misfortunes and misunderstandings of the passing year were consumed. Today we maintain this ancient tradition with a smaller replica aglow with candles, dried flowers and more which can sit on your table! Includes all materials. In addition we'll make some fragrant spice balls to adorn your log, hang on your tree or simply perfume the air in a bowl. Mulled cider and sugary treats! Bring scissors or clippers.
