Description

Join us as we watch the first episode together of the highly anticipated 3 season of Masterpiece's All Creatures Great and Small. This season James Herriot and crew deal with sick animals, eccentric farmers, courtship, and strict government mandates. The themes for season 3 include new partnerships, ghosts from the past, and doing one’s duty-and of course doing right by the animals. We will also have a sneak peak of upcoming PBS shows. Seating is limited, so please RSVP by December 30, 2022. Free parking in the well -lit Buffalo Toronto Public Media Parking gated parking lot. Covid restrictions apply, please see below. Season 3 begins in spring 1939 as James and Helen prepare to walk downthe aisle. With a new stake in the business, James is trying to expand theveterinary practice by joining a government program to test for tuberculosisin cattle. The initiative pays well, but it is looked upon with suspicion by thelocal farmers who run the risk of their farms being shut down if a positivecase is found. Audiences returning to Herriot’s heartwarming depiction of the fictional town of Darrowbywill be treated to more of his life-affirming stories that have seen the series touch the heartsof millions since its launch in 2021. As the New York Times observed, All Creatures Great andSmall “is a frame for a series of small but important moments for the principal characters: afirst kiss, a rapprochement between brothers, a gesture of kindness toward a rival… a cheerful, optimistic tone prevails despite the distant rumblings of war.” ALL ATTENDEES, must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. People are considered fully vaccinated two weeks after their second dose in a two-dose series (Pfizer, Moderna), or two weeks after a single-dose vaccine (Johnson & Johnson). No exceptions will be made to the vaccine requirement, and a negative COVID test will no longer be accepted for entry. Attendees will need to present photo ID and proof of vaccination in the form of your physical CDC Vaccination Record card or your digital vaccination record before entering the building. New York residents can easily register for your digital vaccination record for access on your mobile device. Photographs of vaccination cards will not be accepted. We’ve installed an environmentally friendly clean air filtration system throughout our building to attack microbes both in the air and on surfaces. This system uses an innovative Dry Hydrogen Peroxide (DHP™) to fight viruses, bacteria, mold, odors, and insects. There will be enhanced disinfecting of high-touch surfaces. Countertops, railings, restrooms, and seating areas will be cleaned and disinfected thoroughly. We will continue to closely review public health guidelines and update our safety protocol as necessary. Staying informed is our best prospect for remaining safe as we move forward with navigating through the pandemic. Buffalo Toronto Public Media is dedicated to staying up to date with current guidelines to ensure a safe experience for all. COVID-19 vaccine policy:
