Please join us for an evening highlighting two local authors and their recently published works. Each author will have a table for meet-and-greets, book signings, and conversation with friends, family, fans, and potential new readers. This month's event features Dan Guilfoyle and Mary Lois Timbes Adshead. RSVPs are not required, but they are appreciated. (They help us keep in touch in case of changes, and let us know how many people to expect.) Fans are welcome to bring books from home to have signed, or to purchase books here. Refreshments and beverages are also available for purchase throughout the event. Please, no outside food or drink. About the authors and their books: Dan Guilfoyle is the author of From Shrink to Think a book that offers various techniques and strategies that are needed in order to be able to remember and recall vast amounts of information much easier and faster than you ever thought possible. Mary Lois Timbes Adshead lives right here in Uptown Kingston but grew up in Alabama. Her southern upbringing influenced her unique approach to what she writes. Her latest book is Travelin' Light, a collection of stories about young women in the middle of the 20th century. Against a backdrop of changing roles, they explore the meaning of women’s liberation by taking risks and making life choices in spite of conventional wisdom, uncovering surprises and unexpected revelations.
