Why Tummy Time? The ABC's of Infant Brain Development is based on the Infant Developmental Sequence which includes activities such as tummy time, tummy crawling and hands and knees crawling. These infant movements occur in a logical sequential order, facilitate the maturity of the foundational levels of the brain and provides the platform needed for higher cognitive functions.
