Come together for an evening of ceremony, song, and connection in this month’s Goddess Gathering, honoring Native American Heritage month, and the Giving of Thanks.   The American tradition of Thanksgiving has its roots in Indigenous customs and ways of being. Unfortunately, with the rise of Black Friday Sales, and retail consumerism, many have become far removed from the heart of the holiday. Join Theresa Weeks in an evening of Gratitude and Ceremony as we journey our way back to the power of Thanksgiving, and the reciprocity of our generous Mother Earth. From this event, you can expect: Storytelling and History of Native American tradition of Thanksgiving Ceremony and Talking Circle Guided Meditation Restorative Yoga for Gratitude and Self Love Journaling Activities Drum Circle Sing-a-long Mini Friendsgiving Potluck What to bring: Dress comfortable Water, Journal, Pen Personal totems to be cleansed in ceremony If you have instruments for the Drum Circle, bring them along :) hand drums, shakers/rattles, etc Offerings for the potluck: Pecan Pie and light refreshments will be provided Contribute to the feast if you’d like! Any other offerings you feel called to share with the community such as seeds, herbs, art or anything at all :) Please arrive early, doors will be locked when the gathering starts.
