We're kicking off the new year by partnering with HopeAustin for our January event. HopeAustin is creating opportunities for the youngest members of our community through food security. During the event our volunteers will be putting together weekend backpack kits that include snacks and small meals for elementary and high school children. ~3,500 of these backpack kits go out each week to students at the 95 schools across 7 school districts that HopeAustin supports. After volunteering, we will be getting together for social hour at Slackers Brewing. As a volunteer with Volunteering Untapped ATX I understand that the nature of the volunteer activity may involve some potential risks of injury. I hereby release, indemnify and hold harmless Volunteering Untapped ATX, its non-profit partners, directors, officers, employees and any entities affiliated with this event from any and all liability, claim, demands and causes of action of whatever kind and nature. In addition, Volunteering Untapped has my permission to use photos or video taken at the event for publicity purposes. By signing this waiver I understand it is valid indefinitely.
