Join West Windsor Arts Council and African American Parent Support Group as we partner with local agencies to provide much needed assistance to the people they serve. In order to help us plan accordingly, please register each individual in your group for a timeslot by selecting one of the available tickets. Families, clubs, or corporate groups welcome. The total number of volunteer spots are limited for the safety of our participants. "Donations organizers" will work inside West Windsor Arts to package donations as they arrive into kits to be ready for delivery. Anyone may donate items! Registration is not required. Bring your donated items to West Windsor Arts on the day of the event between the hours of 10:00 am to 3:00 pm -OR- in advance from January 9 - 13 between the hours of 10:00 am and 6:00 pm.We are seeking the following donations for these organizations: Rise Community Services, for children ages 3 - 12: new pajamastoothbrush, toothpastegently used or new booksChildren's Home Society, for youth ages 10 - 15: handmade hats, mittens, and scarvesTrenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK): plastic utensils (fork, knife, spoon)napkinselastic bandsPEI Kids, for young men aged 12 - 17, new brand-name only: deodorantbody washbath toweltoothpaste, toothbrushlotionWomanspace, for moms new, brand name only: body washshampooconditionerlotionbath towelMillHill Child Development Center, for babies and children: diapers (infant to size 9)wipessocks (infants, toddlers - age 11)naptime blankets (ages 3 - 5)pajama sets (all genders ages 3 - 10)babywashtoothbrushes, toothpaste (ages 2 - 11)Letters Against Isolation, for seniors in New Jersey: handwritten notes (find inspiration here)blank notecards with envelopesnew thin Sharpie pensnew packs of colored pencilsstickersFor packaging the items (all projects): clear recycle bagsgallon ziploc bagsgift bagsWe look forward to a "day on, not a day off!"
