Along the Venetian boardwalk, the crowds of magicians and buskers, diviners and peddlers of homemade handicrafts, street musicians, missionaries and doctors touting tourists for marijuana-buying sessions. As soon as the sun goes down make sure you get off the beach as much as possible and get back in your car to a safe place. Do not eat near the beach in the dark. The public order is very chaotic. There are often homeless people begging or making trouble.
