Venice Beach is a never-ending carnival known for its street performers, cannabis culture, Bohemian residents and quirky small shops. Albert Kenney Avenue offers an unforgettable shopping and dining experience. Along the Venetian boardwalk, the crowds of magicians and buskers, diviners and peddlers of homemade handicrafts, street musicians, missionaries and doctors touting tourists for marijuana-buying sessions. As soon as the sun goes down make sure you get off the beach as much as possible and get back in your car to a safe place. Do not eat near the beach in the dark. The public order is very chaotic. There are often homeless people begging or making trouble.
