It's the oldest coffee bean farm in Kona, and it's still run by the Greenwell family. Founded in 1850, the 35-acre farm is a major producer of Kona coffee. Henry Greenwell took dry coffee beans from his general store and traded them for other farmers' coffee cherries. He fused the cherries with his own beans to make coffee that was so popular that he became famous. The farm is still busy with rows of trucks parked at harvest time. Tours include operating a wet mill and learning about the family's history.
