Sustainable Spirits is a monthly gathering organized by the North Carolina Composting Council to create a space for people who love the earth to come together for conversation, networking and fellowship. It is free and open to the public. This month's gathering takes place at The Optimist neighborhood coffe house that also serves wine, beer and local food items! It's our first gathering of the year, so come and catch up with those soil hugging friends you haven't seen since last year. We'll meet on the back patio unless the weather sends us indoors. This event is being sponsored by McGill, a wonderful company that is creating compost for agriculture, landscape and your garden. This event is also sponsored by the Raleigh chapter of Toward Zero Waste, an organization that is taking garbage out of the landfil by never putting it in. Sustainable Spirits is organized each month by the North Carolina Composting Council. It's always free and open to anyone who cares about our environment.
