The 2023 “Big Bear Grill & Chill" KCBS BBQ State Championship will be held in Big Bear Lake, CA at the Bartlett Events Area in The Village @ Big Bear Lake. Address: 630 Bartlett Road, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315 The event is a KCBS Sanctioned BBQ Competition. All KCBS rules are in effect and will include Brisket, Pork Butt, Pork Ribs and Chicken. This portion of the event is a single point competition. People’s Choice will be limited to the first 10 teams. The People's Choice portion is held on both event days (Saturday and Sunday) and will be surrounded by craft beer, live music, vendor village, and more. This will be a great opportunity to provide quality BBQ samples and full plates to guests who attend the event. PC is a 70/30 split.
