Santa to visit Downtown Reno with a stop at The Basement

As part of its monthly Third Thursday event series, featuring live music, and food and drink specials, The Basement at 50 South Virginia will host Santa Claus in their historic space on the evening of December 15 from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. and again December 22 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Mr. Claus will be available for photos in front of a historical one horse sleigh for quick three-photo sessions for $20 or longer mini sessions for $100. Kids big and small can also write a letter to Santa and then mail it to the North Pole via a one-of-a-kind mailbox located inside Reno’s historic downtown post office building. Local musician Greg Gilmore will be performing the sounds of the season alongside holiday cookie decorating and a hot chocolate bar.
