Welcome to the celebration of Hogmanay, the Scottish celebration of the New Year! William Trent, founder of Trenton, immigrated from Scotland as a young man to Philadelphia where he become a wealthy shipping merchant. We commemorate his Scottish heritage with a program with Hogmanay traditions from his homeland. Hear bagpipers start off the program, learn the authentic recipe for shortbread of Trent's time, hear Scottish folk tales, enjoy Scottish treats, and end with sending your wishes for 2023 up in smoke!
