PANELISTS: Kelli Herman Kelli is a life-long learner and innovator who spent most of her life working in healthcare and medical education. When her kids went off to college, Kelli decided it was time to complete her undergraduate degree which she put on hold to start a family, and then she went on to earn her MBA as well. Over the years, Kelli observed the complexities of the business world and developed a greater understanding of how intrapreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs can distinguish themselves and drive valuable change from within. Today Kelli runs a consulting firm, 2PointOh LLC, that provides hand-picked expertise to tackle challenging business problems or projects. She cohosts the My Job Here is Done podcast with Dave Van Allen and provides an insider’s view of how executive decisions impact or influence ambitious career-minded professionals within companies. Dave Van Allen Dave is an electrical engineer at heart, a former Top 40 disc jockey (ah, now you get the podcast angle), and an entrepreneurial sophophile. He has been running businesses, founding one of the world’s first internet companies in 1992, and advising company leadership for over 30 years. He's worked in the technology, aviation, manufacturing, and software industries starting new companies, and as executive leadership for others. Today, Dave is a consultant for leadership in growing companies. He’s passionate about marketing, selling, and doing customer service right, often designing new foundations for success in those areas. He also works with investors who need due diligence expertise for M&A activity, or interim leadership to help right a listing ship. Dave cohosts the My Job Here is Done podcast with Kelli Herman and provides an entrepreneurial point of view to the career and business growth topics they explore. Ashley Russo Ashley Russo, president of ASR Media Productions, is a five-time Emmy® award-winning executive producer and host of The PEAK TV and St. Luke’s HealthNow. A twenty-year media veteran, Ashley graduated from New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute. She is also the creator and host of the podcast, Unscripted with Russo. Additionally, Russo is the chief operating officer at General Magnaplate Corporation, the world’s leading manufacturer of engineered coating solutions. Ashley is the third generation to step into an executive role at the company founded by her grandparents, Charles and Sylvia, in 1952. At General Magnaplate, Ashley’s years of management experience are capitalized to improve efficiency and communication. Deeply committed to her community, Ashley is Co-Chair of United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley’s (UWGLV) 2022 Campaign. She serves on the boards of UWGLV, Children’s Home of Easton, Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce (GLVCC), and Hospital Central Services, Inc.& Affiliates. Ashley is also an active committee member, supporting the Wildlands Conservancy, American Heart Association’s Circle of Red, Women United, and UWGLV’s Marketing and Communications Committee, to name just a few. She regularly donates her time and talent as an emcee and auctioneer for numerous regional events. The recipient of several leadership awards, Ashley was most recently honored with the LifePath and PICPA Community Service Person of the Year award, recognized for Girl Scouts of Eastern PA’s Take the Lead, named UWGLV’s Community Builder, received the Betsy Torrence Philanthropist of the Year from Women United, and was named GLVCC’s Volunteer of the Year. Ashley began her career as a producer on NBC’s TODAY show, Bloomberg L.P., and The Weather Channel. Her entrepreneurial spirit soon kicked in, and she became a writer, independent producer, and media consultant for numerous national publications and experts, including Cooks Illustrated, Prevention magazine, Women’s Day, and Weider Publications. A lifetime horse lover, Russo is a multi-time American Saddlebred world and national titled equestrian. She resides in Bethlehem with her husband of twenty-two years, Joe, and her two children, Nolan (20) and Renna (18). Dakota Reinike Originally a native of New Paltz, New York, Dakota fell in love with television development while pursuing her bachelor’s degree in television/film at DeSales University. She completed an internship with ASR Media as a production intern and was thrilled to officially join the team following her graduation in May 2018. Dakota currently holds a position as a three-time Mid-Atlantic Emmy nominated Lead Editor at ASR Media Productions. Dakota is involved with the screenwriting community and has been a jury member for the New York International Screenplay Awards (NYISA) for 4 years. She also has served as a reader for the Screenplay Reading Committee for the 2020 Atlanta Film Festival. Recently, Dakota has started her own podcast, The DNA Podcast, where she and her co-host discuss books and movies that resonate with the human experience. When she’s not producing or editing Unscripted With Russo, Dakota loves to write, interact with any kind of animal, and sing while playing her piano.
