Indie punk power pop band looking for a new committed bass player, who's able to learn material on their own time but still down to jam and work things out as a group. Preference for women, nonbinary folks, and queer folks but all emails will be considered. How it started: studio project written, recorded, and mixed solo. Where it's going: full band lineup, looking to gig on a regular basis starting in the spring of 2023 and setting up a tour for summer 2023. We would practice 1-2 times a week. For fans of female-driven headbangers with alt-90's vibes, lots of fun riffs and lyrics about existential crises. I love playing shows and would love to jam with you to put together a compelling live set. I write and arrange all the songs and bring them to the band, so band members would have be comfortable taking that direction, although with a live group there's plenty of room to experiment. Looking for experienced players who work well with a group and share our commitment level. Willingness and availability to do a weeklong tour in the summer and play gigs every 3-4 weeks starting in the spring is a must. Personality wise the current group is very chill, friendly, silly, and easy going, but knows when to get to work and is very motivated.
