Skilled drummer looking for gigs, bands, songsters and songstresses

Hey what's up everyone! I'm a life long drummer, with skills, technical proficiencies...chops if you will, and lots of formal training, live and studio experience. But what I really love, is backing a great band, with great songs and playing for the song. I've had the luck (and work ethic) to be able to play all around this great city at some of the best venues and with the best musicians for the past couple of years, but at the moment, feeling a bit stagnant. Things to know about me other than that I can actually play the drums, keep perfect time and provide a big pocket for others to play in: I play with multiple people and multiple bands. It makes me a better drummer, end of story. It doesn't make me less reliable or less available. Playing more...makes me want to play more! I prefer playing original music, but not opposed to covers. I have great gear, reliable transport, and I'm always 100% prepared for shows, rehearsals, studio, etc. I don't let anyone down that expects me to know what I'm doing. Although I am not a full time musician, I generally play paying gigs. Not saying its a must, but it's preferred. If you are a decent person and a good musician, I don’t care much about political and religious views, lifestyle choices, preferred methods of intoxication, or much of anything that has no effect on you being a good human and how well you can play your instrument.
