Lean 101: An Introduction to Lean Manufacturing for businesses in the New River Gorge Region including Fayette, Nicholas, Summers, and Raleigh County. Participants first work in a chaotic, traditional manufacturing environment building Lego airplanes. Through systematic implementation of Lean concepts learned via presentations throughout the day, the participants will transition the factory to a modern lean facility. Throughout the day participants will experience the dramatic improvement in productivity and profitability that typically results from lean implementation. Lunch provided.
