Join Kenneth Jones, director and writer of Amazon Prime feature My Music as he unpacks the filmmaking of the Rosewood docudrama, a historic 100-year-old tragedy. The film was vital to Rosewood descendants becoming the first African Americans to receive reparations in America.
Kenneth’s new Amazon Prime video feature film My Music was an “Official Selection” of the Sedona International Film Festival, calling it “magical,” “uplifting,” and “Inspiring.” Jones’ films have been distributed on PBS, HBO and his feature, “Love & Fate,” was an Encore/Starz Movie. His international and national awards include a CINE Eagle Award amongst others. His docudrama “Rosewood” broadcast on PBS was called “a chilling reenactment” by the Ft. Lauderdale Sun Sentinel. A seasoned broadcast and multimedia professional and award winning educator, Jones earned his MFA from the Florida State University Film School and bachelors degree in Broadcast Journalism from Florida A&M University.
